I spent a lot of time this week doing stream of consciousness musings on how clouds are affected by light and color, a lot of it likely very misguided. Storm clouds in particular are an interesting subject, because their hues are impacted by so many different factors. Things like altitude, sunlight, density, and ambient background sky color make them solid-seeming objects that appear to constantly make up new rules for how they treat light.
Also, I'm lowering the cost of
commissions! It's now $20 for a single character illustration w/simple background. I'm still trying to figure out an economical price point that is also worthwhile to me, so we'll see how this works out.
