One of the most involved, trial-and-error pieces I've done in a long time. Tried a bunch of new techniques/a handful of new brushes and tools. Fun, and exhausting.

This one is kind of a secret free commission I sneaked in for a friend of mine. He kind of immediately pounced on it, but since he has the advantage of INSIDER CONNECTIONS I decided to secretly expand the list. Just, layers of Tom Clancy misdirection shit.

And since I've been wanting to do a piece of Samus fanart for awhile but for some reason never got around to it his request made an easy sell.

Super belated Mother's Day stuff

Belated Mother's Day art that I've been streaming the past few days. I always have the hardest time coming up with an idea for a card or art that will actually mean something to the person I'm giving it to.

My mom has always taken a fancy to Egyptian art and symbolism. Also, cats (she has several tattoos, including a full shoulder-spanning Isis and a black cat sitting atop a vase on her leg). So once I figured out what to make for her, it was pretty easy to strip-mine for meaningful symbols and motifs. I added wings because why not, wings are cool, and fit vaguely within the subject matter.

Inaugural Livestream TacocaT

 From the Livestream tonight. I've played around with streaming before, and I think I may have figured out a good configuration, so I'll probably try it again. It was a ton of fun any somehow I didn't completely lock up when people I didn't personally know started showing up. It even kept me on task longer. So yeah, probably doing it again sometime.
