Truncated update this week. Spent most of my free art-time this week working on Madam Mime, and spent the rest kind of dicking around on non-committal stuff.

Also, bringing this update to you despite tornado sirens raging outside.

One more speedpaint tonight. I think I've settled on his name being Alex.

Saw this video and some of the others on the channel and decided to give some of the techniques a try, including working under a time limit.

All told this was about an hour and a half speedpaint.

It's week 26, which means this blog has reached the ripe old age of 6 months, and the half-way point of this self-improvement experiment. It's also the 288th month of my being alive!

Got carried away doing another speedpaint (maybe 2 hours this time). More wolfboob. I feel like she has a man face, but I don't know quite why.

Week 25

Striving to break as many promises as possible this week! (last week)

And it looks like I'm drawing close to the 6 month mark for the blog. I should think of something special for it. Free commissions maybe?

AND AS THE SMOKE CLEARED...

A robot! I am totally fucking up my "do more drawings with actual backgrounds" resolution, but look, there is smoke! Something is happening!

Ringing in the new, awful February with another doodle

One more before I head to bed. Still have morning classes despite the icy wrathful hellstorm, but I kind of wanted to flesh out this guy's armor a bit. A speedpaint for now, but I might finish him up later.
